The weather was perfect. Bright sunny day, mid to low 20's. Cool in the twisties.
5 of us enjoyed the days events. A new face Andrew joined us (my cousin Adrian's RAAF work mate) on his red Ducati. The hill climb up to Woodenbong from Rathdowny gave me a woody. Virtually uninterupted for us front runners who managed to get around that car and semi. Krishna and Humps had to sit and wait it out for an opportune time to pass.
Adrian and Andrew nicked off just before Kyogle via the Lions road as they had to be home by lunch. :spank: I'll let you's know what that section is like when i hear from the two boys.
Adrian certainly likes to set the pace.

Thought I'd better catch him up so he didn't think he was too far ahead of us
Great run through the twisties from Kyogle up to our lunch stop at the Mt Warning pub. Filled our bellies and headed off up to test the roads of Tamborine. Awesome hill climb up to Canungra. Stopped to check out the hang gliders for a bit and then headed off north to Beenleigh.
I got separated from Humps and Krishna on the M1 heading home. Sorry, I'm not used to commuting and playing dodgems with traffic.
Thank's for the fantastic days ride, glad we zigged instead of zagging this time. Especially when you get to those twisty roads where you have signs with no speed limit

, now that was fun.
