Just out of curiosity , has anybody else got a fine in the mail from our last ride ??? Darryl got one in the mail today , so far i havent but he is curious :confused: says he can see all 5 bikes it the photo......

I haven't. Maybe he was speeding up to catch up with us? I don't recall seeing one. Where was it, on the road to Beaudesert?
 
....by the way Kristna is still keen for Saturdee morning, so that's 3 of us (incl Humps)

Naughty boys, aren't the cops trying to crack down on motorcycles up there, i vaguely remembering hearing abouut 0% alcohol law coming in too didn't I?
It'll all start here next, 3 killed on the weekend in separate accidents

yeh, the cops are always hanging out in the fun sections especially over the weekends. Everytime I head up Nebo for a quick squirt I always see one lurking around.
 
I've got a couple of friends that are cops but I still think they are ass holes. Who are we killing other than ourselves slightly goin over the limit.

Also if you can stop a bike quicker than a car from the same speed then why can't we ride faster?

On the road out of Beauy , just after we stopped to show him the turn off to home............79 in a 60 zone :shakehead:........Im thinking he was playing catch up , ive got my fingers crossed though :D

Yeppers, gotta head to work after that, about kinda 10ish maybe? lol

And Paul, it's Krishna. Yeah, like hare Krishna, w/o the hare bit of course, I've heard it all before :P

No word of the cans yet :( Usps still says they only have electronic notification of the delivery - no actual handling of the goods has taken place by the looks of the tracking page. I've contacted the shop via ebay twice this week and have gotten no reply either *sigh* With my trip to Sydney next week end I'm afraid it could be two weeks before I get them on. Unless I can tempt Humps with a few coldies, Tex style...

so... we having breaky up the top? Krishna, how keen are you at getting to work at 10am? Over and back without breaky is about 2hrs, unless you just wanted to do a short run?
 
Have a good run this morning guys. Wish I was there but kids soccer takes priority on Saturday mornings. Can't even say 'lets do a Sunday' because I think I'm going to NZ next weekend for a couple of weeks and then we're away after that and then.... well, you don't want the life story...

Just wishing I could jump on my bike and have a run and some grub with some like-minded people :thumbup:

Nah, I managed to ditch work, so brekky sounds good. Do need to be home by 11ish though.

And Tex, know the feeling, got a daughter to take to soccer at midday, lucky for me it's late and not early :Flip:

well just myself and Krishna went for a run over nebo/glorious which included a hearty eggs benedict and cappucino on the way. :thumbup:

Fantasic run, road was dryish except through the rainforest in Glorious, had a heart in the mouth moment when my front wheel decided to flinch when it went over some clay washout over the road on a bend. :eek:

Split yard Creek Rd stretched our FZ6 legs. :D

Hit the luchtime traffic a little on the last section through Nebo. :(

Damn good run, thanks Krishna! I think I even reduced my chicken strips a little today, they're almost gone! I also reckon I'm nearing my traction limit on my stock tyres as they became iffy on a few corners today.

Sorry you missed it Humps, hope you got the car sorted. :Flip:

Yep, know the feelin Tex, but ya never know when the opportunity might strike!

New's break on the cans - spoke to Oz Post yesterday and they have them in a distribution point in Sydney. Could even turn up today. *Double sigh* I'm off to Sydney tomorrow for the long week end. Looks like I'll be waiting another week before they get installed, darn it!

Damian is heading up into the sunny coast hinderland for a quick squirt early Saturday. He is planning to go via Dayboro - Mt Mee - Woodford - Maleny - Kenilworth and return via the same route (may change depending on timing). Just a morning ride only - say around 4hrs.

I am going to leave Gaythorne (just up the road from where we usually start at Enoggera) at 7am to meet Damian at Dayboro at 7:45am.

Let me know if any of you are interested.
 
Kids soccer again interfering with my life. Don't suppose anyone is going for a ride on the public holiday Monday?

I'm going to try and get out there for a run at some time. I'm new to both the FZ6 and Brisbane so I'd love some company and some pointers on good rides (starting from Eatons Hill, or Enoggera or whatever).

Ahh crap mate , i just said yes to working in the morning :( :spank:........I have nothing to do early monday morning though :D.....
