Bris Fizz

Naturally...LMAO....but I'm not riding that far in a straight line, even for a fish:eek::eek::eek:. Catch one for me:thumbup:.

C'mon Mike , it's fishing in one of the best freshwater spots in Oz :D.....Take Pinky you'll be here in no time at all and they arent your tires your squaring off  ....I'll keep Jamie occupied while you "borrow" her :rof:

Sure thing.....it's not like he'll hear anything...lol. It's just that I think I'll get dizzy now if I ride in straight lines:eek::eek::eek::D.

I was going through some old pic's today and found this one , taken when my bike was just 1 week old :D...Just thought i'd pop this up for you guy's to have a look at it , some of the Bris Fizz boys have noticed the little badge i where on my jacket commemorating this occasion which started out as an Aussie record attempt but because of bike numbers ended up becoming a World Record :cheer:... Some 10682 bike's rode through the pub that day and it was a whole lot of fun....

Re: ride time again....the great western circuit

Howd'y partners, I've been checking out the maps and have an idea for the next ride, so saddle up and lets move out....

Meet - Yamaha Enoggera
Time - 7:30am for a 8am start (yep early - a few twisties to tackle)
Circuit - 420 km approx

Enoggera - Mt Nebo - Mt Glorious - Fernvale - Lowood - Gatton - East Greenmount - Toowoomba - Highfields - Hampton - Esk - Somerst Dam - Split Yard Creek road - U-turn - Mt Glorious - Mt Nebo - Enoggera.

Southerners nay wish to keep heading south after Split Yard Creek Road or finsh the muster with a squirt back over the mountain. :D

Hope to see you there

Re: ride time again....the great western circuit

managed to muster up 2 other riders, younger cousin and a fella from work.

Well peoples ive returned from the inaugural Bris Fizz fishing trip :D , attended by Me and my young fella with a guy from work.....Where were the rest of you guys Hmmmmmmm :spank: :D........Fishing was lame but the Redclaw were great bagging 7 in total with 1 35cm MONSTER :D.....Scenery was breathtaking , considering it's the first time ive had a real good look at the full length of Somerset Dam.....Got to do a GPS speed check on the boat to and was really impressed that with 3 people and all our rods , tackle and iceboxes we still managed a nippy little 54kph :cheer: , must have something to do with the unbelievable power from the mighty Yamaha outboard

um......where are the bass pics?

didn't know red claw were in Somerset

Ummmm yeah the Bass , wellllll they sort of eluded us today :(.....Talking to others at the boat ramp made us feel better though because nobody caught any fish :D.........Redclaw season is nearly done up there now , probably got about 2 weeks to go....It's been such a good season this year that every tackle shop around the area has been sold out of Opera House Pots......Found on on display at the servo in Fernvale and snaveled that one :D....Then i gave the thought of what to use for bait ????? Looked around the shop and spotted Jerky , works a treat as you can see

i've used dog biscuits in the past. cheap, lasts well and works. went on a fishing trip up north once and used dog biscuits we ate red claw like kings. they were our meal for lunch and dinner while we were trying to hook up some barra.

Bloke at the little cafe there at the spit said that people were even using soap as baits

looks like you had a great day mr humps....gotta love eating those shellfish at the end of the day! Am thinking I should try and convince mikey to take me out fishing in the kayaks one day real soon....hint, hint, mikey!
