Bought my first bike today...

Nice bike, I bought an 06, shift red just over 2 months ago, when it had 47xx miles on it. You'll love it.

Welcome and congrats. As has been said, respect the bike. Though it's "only" a 600, things can go from mild to wild pretty quickly on this bike -- especially the fast red ones!
