Part of me has become obsessed with the idea of starting a bobber project. I seem most interested in bikes when I am customising them.

A big part of me wants to create this:

But in selling the FZ6 to fund such a project will I regret it? My bike is just how I want it and it's such a great all rounder.

You'll regret it. I'm sure the bobber is a nice bike, but it can't handle everything the FZ6 can. If you're still making payments on the bike I say finish paying it off then start a brand new project.

project bikes always take longer than you think. i'd save for the project. look for something cheap and keep the fz6.

how mechanical you are? are you looking at getting something that is running and just doing some cosmetic stuff? or are you thinking of getting something that will need you to tear into it and get it working? i'm a fan of bobbers.
