Very cool concept! Single sided swing arm! I wouldn't paint my SV like that but I like the paint on the scooter.

I think scooters are the future with the way fuel pricing and environmental impact is going.

I have a friend that has a Harley. He's getting rid of it and bought a used Vespa to replace it because it works for him and to tell the truth I'd love to have a scooter to jump on and go for errands and small shopping.

love the concept, hate hate hate what i know will be rediculousely priced OEM-ONLY batteries, controls, switches, and such. there's absolutely no way i'm buying a first-generation from any maker. no way. buying 'new' is crazy, but a locked in parts-and-computers for this thing are going to be crazy expensive, and very few replacements second hand (like we find for fz's on ebay).

the frame sounds a little too trick. the batteries... oh holy hell, please, someone make a big stupid brick of a battery that is easily enough reproduced by china or whoever (it will happen anyway) so we can get on with enjoying really nice electi-bikes.

there should be a replacement for my DRZ by now. 20 miles of single track on a charge would be plenty.

parts...hell there aren't any on a 'lectric ! a motor, and a drive chain/belt. no valves, no timing, no coolant, no freaking oil to change, no cables, no thousands of tiny parts, nuts, bolts, tensioners to fail and cause mahem on the road or trail.

i LOVE ELECTRIC.. but we've got to get this stuff into K.I.S.S mode. a 60 mile range is 3 days of commuting per charge. i'd eat that **** up.

HEAT: you're not generating any, or very very little. summer time 'lectric scoot would be awesome.

lights: leave em on all day long (LED anyone ?) and don't worry about it.

silence... is golden. i'd love a nearly bicycle like silent ride.

TORQUE: YOU TWIST, IT"S ON YA LIKE STINK ! those electric motors are badass powerhouses when it comes to torque.

rant over. please, everyone that ever rode a bike buy one of these sombitches. now ! with enough demand today i'll be able to buy one used on craigslist in 2 years for the price of a decent dirt bike. get on it ! :BLAA:

I have a friend who had a Hardly and got a little Suzuki 200 and loves it!
I too, want a little scooter to ride/play around with locally!

With that paint scheme if I parked it next to fresh pavement or an old Peter Max painting I do not think that I could find it again! (I do like what I read though)
