What the hell???!!! I've never seen that monster before

best mate has an MT01....big bulky torque monster, 1700cc pushrod v twin, that revs to about 6500rpm...handles ok thanks to decent suspension, very much suited to bg gorilla types! nice bike.

I just sold this one to buy my current 07 FZ6

OK OK OK, I lied....
I did sell a bike to get my FZ though... It was a '89 Ninja 500 that I rebuilt from the ground up (the PO hit a Moose with it).
Here is the finished product after the rebuilt (there was no good fairing on it, had to buy all new and I custom painted it metallic blue)

It's the 1987 ancestor of our FZ6 :thumbup:

Certainly is a nice to ride and easy to maintain: air cooled 4!

I'm using it mainly in winter, just installed a new chain, put Textyl on the exhaust and frame to protect it from salt in the winter.
