Best tent?

I'm going to a 4 day long bike event in August,The Bulldog Bash (probably best known to the UK contingent And I'm after a tent.I'm not a big camper,so I'm not looking for something state of the art,just something I can get my head down in and is obviously light.
Should be a blast,as I'm getting an 'Access all areas ticket from a mate who's in the London HA.

I'd go for a 1 or 2 person Eureka backpacking tent.

You have room for two to sleep comfortably, plus the 2 unused berths for storage and the inner area for cooking etc.

It might be a bit on the large side to strap to a bike but it did me well :thumbup:

Get a 2 or 3 man tent as you'll want space to store your gear. Have a look for some local camping shops as many have tents up on display so you can get in and see what you think.
What looks good in a picture isn't always great in the flesh!

You'll also want something with a reasonable pack size not to mention lightweight. Vango make some good tents, check them out.

I think that my next tent will be a three man tent - more room to put your stuff if it rains. The 2 man tent I have now - a bit small really. I'm also a fan of cheaper (but good) tents for casual occasional use, because if it falls off, gets damaged, stolen, etc, you are not out much. I do like a tent with a plastic vapor barier for a floor, the moisture that comes up from the ground at night can make you cold and sore.
