Battery change/charge

Howdy,

Just bought a 04 FZ6, left it for a couple of days as work was hectic, went to go for a ride but battery was flat, gutted.

I'm worried that if I disconnect this one to charge or replace it I'll not be able to start the bike as I dont have a red key or will the black one start it OK after a battery disconnection?

I'm not sure what key you are referring too, immobilizer key? In the states we don't have the immobilizer but I've had my battery out numerous times on my 04 and never had any issues with it. If your bike does have a immobilizer it shouldn't bother it unless you mess with the ignition I would think

You're probably good to go. If your key has been already encrypted to your bike all the systems should remember each other. Unless of course it's the Hal 9000...
