rang yamaha dealer $103 for FZ1 bars

rang acessories place $70 bucks for straight risers

motech back and riser thingos $104USD

Try my luck with higher and straighter MX bars: $100ish

what would you guys do? I'm getting wrist fatigue and its making me dislike riding to work, if i can fix it, then i will! straighter bars is where it's at, my wrists sit at a weird angle with the stock bars. I'm tallish at 6'2" so have to lean over quite a bit. I don't mind being upright i hardly ever get to bash the twisties!

The FZ1 bars aren't as "swept back" as the FZ6 bars, and seem like a popular choice.

I have the same issue, and after seeing the MCS DragBars on Jamies bike, I think they would be the best shot... I think they're only $40 too

drag bars are the go I had the same problem put a set of drag bars on and no sore wrists even after a 400 km ride and only $40-$50 best upgrade i've done yet.

Im getting tired of my fz1 bars...my neck is getting sore after about an hour and Im finding myself doing alot of one arm riding...I think some risers are in my future

I went with Pro Taper School Boy Hi bars ($65) and SW Motech up&back risers. I'm 6'1", and agree the sweep of the stock bars puts your wrists at an awkward angle.

I used SV650 bar ends since the stock ends will not work. I filed down the rubber bushing for the bar end so it would fit inside the bar. Another option is to use a wellnut from the local hardware store.

While I was at it, I added Pro Grip #714 grips and some Symtech grip heaters.
