Hey all - first off credit where credit is due. This thread was pulled from writeme43 thread about filters, found here http://www.600riders.com/forum/garage-mechanical-help/204-oil-filters-will-fit.html
Just wanted to share this, for UK FZ6 owners.... I'v been testing the 3.25” filter from Baldwin for nearly a year now...
Fitting was super easy, as they are longer then stock I was able to get my hand around it nicely, to hand-tighten, which was a bonus, no tool required. I used to find the Yamaha stock filters kinda tricky to hand-tighten, they always used to leak slightly as I could not get em tight enough by hand... plus I have small hands
Stock Yamaha filter is ~2.5”, these are ~3.25”... Supplied colour is Red, which i'm happy with cause it kinda looks okay on the bike...
