I only used the experienced rider statement because if he did that to a younger inexperienced rider they could easily end up dead, whereas a more experienced rider like you comes out of it alive. But if he caused an accident and ended up in jail without anyone being hurt that would be good
Normally when I come across someone like that I give them a wide berth too, despite my first emotion being extreme rage and feeling like doing something stupid back. Sadly I know whatever I do I'll come out second best on a bike, and its not good to ride angry!
On my last big trip to Victoria I had a woman in a 4wd move into the right hand lane to overtake me, speed up come even, and swerve straight into me. Was on my 250 cruising at 110 on a highway, nowhere to go but off the road, too fast to react, even though I was keeping an eye on her as she passed. She wasn't even in front of me my front wheel was probably in line with the driver. Luckily she swerved back away from me before hitting me (buffering to the far left hand side of my lane saved my life that day) and sped off. The people I was travelling with who where in a car when we stopped next where furious and the driver said he had been tempted to run her off the road as she went past since it was sooooo close. She had kids in the back and obviously shouldn't have had a license. She either overtook and forgot halfway through that there was someone else on the road (me) or was distracted by the kids. Oh and the windows had the darkest (probably illegal) tint I had ever seen.
Oh the absolute cherry? Government plates. Some *&@$ing moron, probably a poli had almost killed me.

Good to hear you are ok. Anyone see the thread with the guy who was 'practicing' emergency stops and had a rather bad crash? Was in the hall of shame recently.
