I haven't had a bike for 10 years. Got the bug recently and started reseaching and looking. Finally found the one. I'm so glad that I was patient. I got exactly what I was hoping for. I bought 2007 FZ6 with only 4120 miles on it. I picked it up from a member here on the board, DonahuePhoto (Ryan). :rockon:Thanks for the awesome deal Ryan! I couldn't be more stoked. Took it out today for the first time. What a sweet machine. Here one of Ryans photos of it...

Congrats! I did the same thing...off the street bike for several years then decided to get back in it. Picked up my '07 with 2100 miles on it. After I've done my touring mods, I'm happy with it! Be safe & have fun! :thumbup:

Great choice! Honestly i dont think you could go wrong with the vstrom or the fz but i can garuanty-sp? That the fz will put a way bigger smile on your face!

Thanks! The exhaust is a Bruce Fab prototype. The cans sound and look great. Unfortunately they did not do a good job with the fabrication of the y pipe. As a result, the cans aren't in the correct place. The also are not parallel or symmetrical. I'm considering going back to stock. If I knew the right person to fabricate a new y pipe I would do that. Bit I don't. So if anyone is interested, the custom exhaust may be up for grabs soon.

Its nice returning to riding, I'm still wondering why I ever stopped (kid, house renovations, marriage)
I returned coz I stopped reno-ing, my son now rides too and my new wife gave me the learners test a few years back for my birthday-its all good.
