Assen MotoGP

So, anyone going to the moto GP in Assen? I missed it last year as I moved to The Netherlands in July. Not sure what to expect. Would like to go. Any suggestions? I used to live in Indianapolis, so I went to the Indy Moto GP a couple times. it was a blast.

The only suggestion I could offer is don't ask for a Coors Light at the beer tent....cause you won't get one.

meh assen isn't what it used to be. prices went skyhigh and more rules and regulations than I can remember.

Sorry, not going this year as I've already got 2 long weekend passes to go riding. Assen is not only a race but a happening, with lots of events going on bands playing and stunts and the like :thumbup:
When I went I was there Friday, Saturday and left on the Sunday.

If possible I would go for the weekend but hotels/B&B are probably fully booked, you might be able to find some space on a campsite nearby though. I heard from someone else who stayed in Groningen (plenty more B&B's with space) and caught the Train to Assen so he could drink, as the last train back to Groningen left quite late so he could see the main attractions.

Let us know if you get to go, it's definately worth a visit :thumbup:
