thing is i just think the US is too lax with its approach to firearms. it is not the fault of the weapon itself i agree. but thing is you guys just have such large portions of your population that are utterly retarded and insane. throwing a couple million readily available guns into the mix just makes things wild.
after reading your last post there with the stats i think i am inclined to agree. the US is a large population so will no doubt see larger crime figures than canada overall. but per capita i think you guys are much higher than we are. fixing that doesnt mean locking up the guns. this is true. you have won me over. fixing that means taking a hardline approach to improving society to defeating things like poverty etc that create criminal environments.
