Aprilia RSV4R Review

Nice bike!

One little issue though... Faulty Connecting Rods Recall Aprilia RSV4 Fleet Didn't they have that problem at the launch and said it would be limited to the first batch?

It was actually the second batch of rods, they think.

Aprilia has been amazing on customer service, they personally call each owner and arrange pick up of the bike from their house. They are also giving each owner a leather jacket to show good faith. The entire motor is being replaced, FI system, coils, everything. They are also giving the dealer 10 hours of shop time for each motor. The estimate replacement time is about 4 to 5 hours. That, is customer service for everyone.

They are really a great looking bike in the flesh, very small, R6 sized. They go like stink too.

When I as at AF1 Racing this weekend they were gearing up for the motor that should be landing this week so they can make the changes. They have 12 to chagne out. I can't imagine what this is costing Piaggio, but they totally get it.

You can now get Biaggi's replica RSV4 (200HP + 175kg) for 50k EUROS :)

I've been drooling over the white/black RSV4 for a while before realizing and accepting that it would cost double my budget for a bike.... :( I really like this one...

I've been drooling over these as a track bike. What a toy:rockon:.

A guy I have ridden with on occasion gives his trusted mates a hoot on his. He always makes sure it is in race mode when he gives it to them...lol....they all hand it back shaking and terrified....lol.

Definitely want one:D
