Anyone used this GPS mount?

No, but I just ordered it. At $2.47 (shipping included) I had nothing better to do (and will be shoppiing for a RAM mount for yet-to-be-bought Garmin GPS).
 
holy crap that is cheap. i bought one also even though i found an aluminum bracket today at work that would work as a mount.
 
I did try this product with my Garmin Nuvi 200. I found that the GPS mount wouldn't hold position with the vibration of riding and it lacked adjustability so I was limited as to how I could position it for better viewing. I ended up ditching this cheap mount and spending the coin on a nice Ram mount, all steel, solid as a rock and worth every penny.
 
I have this mount and have used it with several RAM GPS holders. I do use it with a piece of rubberized plastic between the mount and handlebar to make the fit tighter. Been using it that way for the last 9 months without any problems. Even if you get a bad one, not much of a loss at that cost.

I used one for about a year and a half before it snapped off trying to pull the gps clip off the ball, other than that I never had a problem. Once I put it on I never took it off so the plastic might have got brittle in the weather. I also used the rubber strip it comes with to mount on the bars.
 
I got one with the power connector. The mount fits mine good, I put it on the left side and it's tight. I wired the power connector to the rear light fuse so it powers up with the bike and has a 10A fuse on it. So far I'm pretty impressed considering what I paid for it.
 
follow up on my $2.50 gps mount (posted on another site):

I bought this one for $2.50 ($2.99 now) and it works great on my garmin.

the quality seems to be just as solid as my window mount that came with the garmin. you just clip on the bracket from your windshield mount that came with your gps to the ball mount and your done.

and if I need a waterproof gps I simply stick a 2 cent ziplock bag over it. It is a lot cheaper than buying an expensive motorcycle specific gps. if you are really concerned you can get a cheap garmin (best maps in my opinion) and buy the extra accidental damage insurance through squaretrade (about $20) and then if you drop it, wreck or forget your ziplock bag and it gets wet it is still covered and you will get the original purchase price back. squaretrade warranties kick butt and they send you 40% off coupons all the time for warranties.
