Anyone up for a tour of Tassie!

Took a quick photo. This is pretty much what I see every day, except when she's straightening her hair :rof:

Dude....you gotta get over the racing driver fantasy! :D

I dare you to walk around for 12 days with that helmet on, next february and march!!!!

So whats wrong with this picture?

Well firstly Kazza is riding at night with a dark visor on, AND drink riding. She is also apparently using a phone or MP3 of some kind, and a laptop, plus she has forgotten to get on the bike!

Hopefully the police don't find this picture or you might get a booking via incriminating internet evidence by mail :O

Yep, guilty on all counts.

Dark visor at night
Drinking a glass of wine
Using the iphone
Using the laptop

:D

Haha, actually beer and vodka is terrible. I don't know from personal experience, unless you consider watching someone projective vomit after trying it to be personal.

Now, pardon my vagueness as usual...is particularly bad tonight, thanks to med's!

But have we sorted some "Tour Shirts" for the Aussie FZ6 Forum Tasmania jaunt!

I have a friend, you know him as Silverback, who is an extremely talented Comic book style artist...I could get Matt to design a top rate line drawing, in characature style of all those participating in the trip, and we could get it put on a t-shirt....

Quality would be publishable quality, and i could sort him out with a few brews for his troubles...

all i would need is a decent mug shot of all that are involved in the trip...

trust me, Matt will be able to bring out your true "character"!!!

Would look great on the back of a black t-shirt!

Thoughts???

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Kel is working on the 'Tour De Tassie' shirts , thats why we asked for sizes but im thinking a caricature shirt would an awesome idea as well  The more we have to remind us of what a great trip this is going to be the better :D He may even be interested in drawing a wall hanging type poster of the group :don'tknow: I for one would love to see my bike drawn in caricature

Hi All. Well now that i live in Tas im keen as mustard to join you guys in feb.
As for chosen roads Ive found a few local roads (in the hobart area) that are decent. A small section out at grass tree hill, sandy bay road back to kingston and the run out to gordon dam are great. The dam run is a no through road but its well worth it as the view is incredible (5th highest dam in oz)
The place I REALLY want to see is around Queenstown over on the west coast.
There is a world famous stretch called 99 bends andI have attached a pic for you.
Or take a look for yourself.

Yep. 459 feet if wiki is correct. But the viewing platform (where the road ends) is over 100 feet above the dam wall so thats a LOOOOOONG way down.

When i went there i had this powerful urge to base jump it (but ive never base jumped before)

Good thing i wasnt drunk and overlooked the absence of certain recommended equipment.
