I'm doing my first coolant flush and I'm bamboozled by all the different choices on offer. I've been looking at getting the Putoline Ultracool 12 coolant for my FZ6. Anybody used this before? There's that and the cheaper Putoline NF. Both are OAT - which I saw someone say might not be good for the FZ6?

Honestly, use whatever is least expensive. Whatever you purchase you will need to mix 50:50 with distilled water. Tap water has minerals that could clog the passages in the radiator and block over time. You could also purchase “diluted” coolant that should be labeled 50:50.

I thought that Putoline stuff was premixed. I've got some deionised water anyhow for the flush so if I need to mix it, I can. Thanks!
