another FZ6 exhaust gutting thread....

I did some bumming around but I could not dig up any pictures of what these mufflers look like inside. My buddy has one of these bikes and wants to open the muffler up. Yes I do weld and do not consider this job difficult at all, just want to get some ideas rolling around before I jump in.

FYI my bike is a XB12r and I love it but that FZ6 is not so hard on the back on long rides

Just wanted to post the pictures of my stock exhaust I gutted and y-piped. I think it sounds great now. I perforated the y-pipes and stuffed the exhaust with packing before i closed it up.
