AFAM sprockets

I have a 2008 FZ6 which I installed a 44t AFAM sprocket.

I was getting alot of noise after the install and could not figure
what the noise was coming from. Installed the OEM sprocket
and the noise went away. Installed the AFAM sprocket and
the noise came back. Well I finally spent another small
amount of money on a Vortex Sprocket 44T. It is so quiet!!!!!

AFAM is a piece of %hit do not buy the rear sprocket from them
if you are thinking of doing any kind of rear sprocket changes.

i have installed the AFAM -1 counter sprocket and it makes noise too,,,it is a slight noise but can be heard easily...its good to know that other brands dont make noises,,i'll change it asap.. it was bothering me lately

I have a Vortex front sprocket on order, as i too have had noisy AFAM sprockets on one of my bikes....have heard nothing but good stuff about Vortex.

fine and no noise!

I have parts unlimited -1 front. It is not that noisy and the cheapest you can get for like 21 shipped

I have a Vortex 15t up front and the noise is barely noticable, I've also got a Red Vortex rear 48t sprocket I cant wait to put on! Vortex is win!

I had an AFAM full kit on my cbr ,ubercrap ! after 6 months the chain had two seized links !

I will never touch them again.
