The lower part of the screen is not shown...Firstly, that screen is OEM, has an angle on it's lower part to keep it mounted on base of headlight assy. Secondly, if you cut that part off, It still going to leave a gap beneath the screen when you lift it up...

Oh, and I don't think the product has a name :D It seems homemade to me. Those philips screws went in after drilling the OEM screen...Nice idea though.

it would work if you had two shields that overlapped at the bottom half. when you raise the upper shield the bottom half would still be covered by the 2nd shield. i've seen it done on other shields. i think its a good concept if done cleanly and safely. i'd buy one for the highway trips.
