9/26 Mt. Mitchell Ride

TENTATIVELY scheduled…depending on weather and a friend's baby situation mostly.

Pace will be fairly spirited (~5-10 over limit, holding thru corners). For those that live in NC, contact me if you’re interested when the time gets closer and I’m sure we can meet up somewhere.

Meet at corner of 11 & 25 at 8:30. Lunch in Asheville around 12:30, 1:00. End at corner of 276 & 8 about 3:30.

The west side of that loop looks like slabfest. Any interest in a variation?

I've never heard somebody consider the BRP slabfest... It gets us closer to home though, and in shorter time. My friend's baby is due in a couple weeks, so we don't want to be gone ALL day.

Thansk for the input though. I've ridden that section before and it is fun for sure.

Hope you can make it, if not all of it maybe part. I'm really hoping the weather clears up!!!
