Last night I reached 500 miles on my new FZ 6. I have spent alot of time reading up on the bike on the site. I learned alot in my short time here. I figured I had the time so I would do the oil change. Not much information on what oil to use, haha Jk. I found every thing here to make it an easy job, and was fun. I had bought an oil filter from the dealer for over $14, just to find a Fram filter at Wal-Mart for $6, so I bought one for next oil change. They have everything I need right there.
It was a wierd feeling how fast you gain skill at ridding. From hidding in the slow lane at first to feeling like you own the High-Way. I took a route by the GM proving grounds home from work today. It had a number of twisties. I was having fun, but still taking it easy. I don't know when I will try somthing that is above my skill and be that squid that goes down.
For my last part of my run home I got on the High-Way and to my suprise another bike was catching me. Looked like a Ninja. We played alittle chase and you don't have to guess what bike won.
I hope the next 5k miles is as fun as the first 500.
Keep up the great work on the site.
Ride safe.
