Also in Montana Ins is not a requirement for a motorcycle. It's pretty stupid actually you're suppose to have an MC endorsement but no Ins for a bike, yet you can license and drive an ATV (4wheeler) on the street and have to have Ins but no MC endorsement.
from what I understand here in FL as long as the bike is not financed for more than $7000.00USD you do not have to carry insurance as long as you wear a helmet. I have a 1 year insurance premium that I pay less than $80.00USD a month for. I have a past record in a cager for speeding violations, so it is not as cheap as it should be. but hopefully this year all that goes off my record and it'll be cheaper next time.
