Ah, the Bell Star. This takes me back. I had a fibreglass Star back in the early 80s which weighed a ton, then I had a Star II and a Tour Star. In those days they were the ultimate helmet.
"if you have a $10 head wear a $10 helmet" if I recall the sales slogan correctly.
When I sold my Honda CBX550F in 1984 the Tour Stars went with it, then when I bought my FZ6 in 2004 Bell helmets weren't available in South Africa so I bought Shoei.
