This is al pretty interesting stuff :thumbup:

Although I'm pretty down the earth and make jokes about it, I can't help thinking in the back of my head there must be some truth in this. Or, the truth is out there...

And there's the credit crunch, oil running out, as the scottish guy from Dad's Army used to say, We'rrrree Doooommeeddd :D
 
No it means that someone who thinks that they are more mentally stable than you has decided that they are. But does that indicate they have a superiority complex, so proving that they are not?

have you read "the book of Destiny 2010"? This book is a book of prophacy writen by a Mayan shaman and in it he writes about the many prophecies, the Myans and Myan calanders and how one of these has ended and the new one is begining on this date; "December 23rd 2012", this calendar is in icraments of 5,200 years. There are many calandars and what they are used for is mentioned in the book. to give an example there is a planting calander that tells when to plant and other calaners for various usages. The Myans are known for telling time. This is what they do best.

These bunkers you claim are secret, - have been know to the public here in scandinavia for years.
The project is supported by the un, who and many other big international non-profit organisations.
It is correct that they store seeds in these bunkers (which resides on svalbard, due to the year round low temperatures there).
These bunkers are referred to as "seed-banks", and the aim is to collect seeds from every living plant on the planet.
This is done in the realization the we as a human race tend to wipe out species, and that we now have a unique opportunity to preserve history in this way.

There is nothing secret about the project, and the only reason that access is restricted is that due to the delicate storing processes the environment inside the bunkers needs to 110% stabil.

I know this is a old thread but I read a couples people comment about it just being a silly old calender....we guess what its not the only one the chinese, judeyo, christian, and muslem calanders all end very close to the same time.....also on that exact date not only is it the winter soltice but it will be the first time since the ice age that all of the planets have been perfectly aligned with the sun....keep that in the back of your head in the comi g years

The following takes place in 250AD in Calakmul:

Hanhau (astronomer, busy working on calendar), receives a drum telegraph from his friend, Tohil, who lives in Tikal: "Dude, whaaaazup?"

Hanhau: "Working, dude - gotta get this calendar finished"

Tohil: "Yeah, whatever - hey listen, let's go for a ride - its' nice weather outside, the crowd is getting together"

Hanhau: "Dude, can't - gotta finish the calendar - i'm on year 6,265,368, it's like 1762 years from now and i gotta send it to stone carvers so they print it"

Tohil: "Listen to yourself - you are giving up a good day of riding because, oh, my Chac, your calendar won't work for the next 5000 years. somebody will continue your calendar when the time comes - what do you think, they'll freak out and think it's the end of the world, or something just because your calendar ends?
