Aprillia had a recall on it's RSV4 when it first came out because of pushrods. They corrected it and life was good.
Still I can never can figure out why a bike for consumers needs to compete for a pound here and a horse there to be top dog when most consumers don't and can't ride them anywhere near their potential. Still I can't blame people for wanting the experience of that combination of HP and technology. All the dyno numbers and weight scales never predicted how well the crossplane crank R1 would get around a track because it was heavier with less peak horse power than the competitors in it's class but when they learned how to use that motor the dynos and scales didn't account for how it got around the track faster than anything in it's class. It wasn't the rider it was the combination of the technology, how and where the motor produced it's ponies.
I bet the new ZX10R will be a great bike when all is sorted out.
