Complete overview of the 4 new Velocity Gear gloves, including the Exhibition Pro, Prodigy, Formula and Metalwear gloves. Two of them meet the EN13594:2002 protection standards!
Chris, do you own a set of our gloves? If so we would love to ask what specific isssues you have with them. Our products are developed from direct customer responses, so we want to hear them all. If you have not tried them on, then there's no need to go further into that for obvious reasons.
All we can ask any customer to do is reasearch, to understand what CE testing is. Currently, Dainese and Alpinestars do not conduct CE testing for their motorcycle gloves.
Why does it matter?
We were contacted by Van of Ducati Pilot after a recent practice day left him.....altered, to put it mildly...
Van was wearing a pair of Dainese gloves and his pinky finger's seam burst!
In addition, his Dainese gloves were stitched with Nylon. No real motorcycle gloves should be stitched with nylon! Our CE testing is confirmation of that.
All we ask is that you do your reseach! Then go buy protective apparel.
Logos shouldn't be the defining reason to buy a product. Safety standards should be, in our opinion.
