2009 MotoGP Round 12 - Indianapolis

I talked to a lady who worked at the track and she said last year a strong blast of wind actually toppled one bike over into a line parked on the paddock and dominoed almost all of them.
Yes! It was a beautiful day. I don't have many pics right now, but here is one from my cell phone. Rossi is in the lower right.

One word for the weekend - WOW!!!
I've never seen so many national champions, world champions, etc. in one place before. Truly, the best motorcycle weekend ever for me. I'll be buzzin' on it for weeks to come. If you weren't there, check out superbikeplanet.com - tons of pictures. Kenny Roberts on the TZ at the Mile on Saturday and Schwantz doing laps on the Suzuki on Sunday!! How could it get any better! Oh, BTW, there was a motorcycle race also. The championship just got a lot closer - go Jorge!!! Let's hear it for our boy, Nicky!!!:rockon:

I went to the race and it was awesome. It was a bit cloudy and windy and chilly where i was sitting in the South Vista on turn one but it was a great race and a Yamaha/Fiat bike won. On Friday they let us ride our motorcycles on the GP track. A once in a lifetime thrill riding over the bricks at the finish line at Indy. Can't wait for next years race.

Fox TV ALWAYS sucks!
Check out motogp.com. I think you can download a single race ($) and next year, consider signing up for the entire package. Seems to me it was something around 100 euros. You'll never have to listen to Freddie Spencer and Ralph Sheehan again
