2009 FZ6RC Dragons Tail Meet

!! I will be missing you guys by about 3 days. I'm going to be hitting the tail towards the end of my cross country trip. Guess I'll just have to ride it a few extra times and keep y'all in mind :thumbup:

Dang man! Care to share any details on the trip? I am assuming you are taking the FZ on this ride.

I'm leaving on May 16th from Bar Harbor, Maine and taking my FZ out to California and back. Technically we're not doing much more than a left turn in Cali just south of Las Vegas (but it sounds cooler to say "I'm riding to California!). The major point of the trip is to hit up the motorcycle hall of fame in Ohio, Colorado springs, Zion park in Utah, Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Memphis and then the tail of the dragon before heading back up the coast. We've given ourselves about a month to take it all in and just enjoy the rides. At this point we're anticipating arriving at the tail on June 1st and leaving the 3rd.

I am not sure if the hall of fame is the same thing I am thinking of, but while your in Ohio, make a stop at the AMA museum. Worth a stop while your there.

I'm planning on leaving that Friday morning from Chattanooga if any will be traveling through the area at that time.

OK guy,

So far we have 13 paid for a total of 1265.80

That means as of now everyone that is coming on Friday is looking a $105.61+food. For those of us arriving Thurdays we will split the $205 by the number of guys + your $105.61. As we geet more these prices will of course come down.

Just want to keep everyone up to date on the funds.

Anyone else coming early to take the total control Class? Have not had many sign up. I am flying down tomorrow to teach a class on Saturday, but for the rally I will be driving down so I can take my bikes and have some fun riding with everyone as well! Sure am looking forward to getting down having some fun!

Hopefully we'll get a few more. I think it's just the two of us so far though.

We don't have the Ridge yet. I didn't want to shell out $205 for a night al by myself. I know I can probably find something for around $50 or so just to sleep in. If a few want to commit to Wed then I will surely book it, but I need a definate yes. I don't want to be on the hook for it all by myself if others change their minds. Know what I mean?

I'm down for wednesday. Not going to do the class though, I just want another day with the dragon.
 
As of right no Shaggy it's just me and you that are 100% confirmed. I'd like to get it to a couple more to bring the price down.
