2008 FZ6 - anyone have one yet? any reviews? - also buying advice please!

Thats the Speed Triple, the Street Triple is a naked Daytona 675 with a detuned motor. They look very similar.

Anyway...

The 2008 FZ6 just has different colour options from the 2007

It depends on what you want the bike for.

The FZ6 is a good cheap general purpose bike.

i was between the same bikes last year like you are now, i have riden all of them and i am glad i bought the 2007 fz6 it look much better and has alot more features than the other 2 do. specially the sv 650 sucks it vibrates like nothing else and the seating position sucks. i will say go for the 08 fz6 raven you will not regret it
