Is there any easy way to test this thing to see if it's working? It spins freely but I have never heard it. I saw in some threads you have to find the connectors (buried) and ground them somehow. How about if I just let it idle away for awhile, would it come on in say 10-15 minutes. I'm just concerned if it's working or not. My temp guage seems to always stay around in the middle.

Thanks for any info.

If your guage is staying in the middle then its prolly not getting hot enough to turn on but yes you can let it idle for as long as need be for the fan to come on unless he bike begins to over heat, if the fan still dosent come on I would first check the wires for any breaks

yeah there s no harm in letting it idle. when the temp gauge reaches 4 bars the fan should come on. if it does not switch off the engine immediately to avoid overheating and then check the connectors and wires as stated before. Good luck
