2005 fz6 compatibilty?

I am currently modding my 05 fz6 just for fun and want to know if all years of the FZ6 are compatible with each other as far as parts go.

i want to do a swing arm swap on my bike because i hate the boxy stock one. what swingarms out there are compatible with the 05 FZ6?

if i swap out the swing arm for the 07-09 ones what do i need to make the swap?

04 to 06 years are series 1 and 07 to 09 are series 2.

Differences will be front plastics, front fender, forks, front fairing stay, front brake calipers, front flasher mounts and flashers, swing arm, sub frame, removable rear passenger pegs on 07 and up. I believe the swing arm is a perfect swap. In 07 they also added an O2 sensor and changed the ECU map as well as the instrument cluster.

as far as swingarms from other bikes that fit the fz6 i dont know of any that are a straight swap. the 07 -09 fz6 one is a straight swap, but you have to change the wheel axle to the 07 -09 one as the 04-06 one somehow does not fit properly (i ve tried it that s how i know). make sure you have the chain adjusters from the 07 -09 one too as they are completly different.
