20,000 Miles!

I just rolled onto 20,000 miles on my 2006 FZ6 and have enjoyed every second of it and have never had any problems!!!!

I have an 2006 too, but I bought it new in mid 2007 and I have 78,000 miles, you really ought to take it out more often.

Trust me, they don't make tires good enough to avoid a civic sliding out of control in 5" of snow... I definitely feel you on the limited riding season. WI isn't the greatest either, but can't complain about last winter... 20K miles here on a 08 bought sept that year. LOVE IT!

Also a 2006 owner here. Bought the bike in 1/2007 with 1 mile on the clock. Just about to hit the 17,000 mi mark! Still on stock chain and on the 4th set of tires, never once had to make a repair on her, only maintenance.

Planning to push her well over 20,000 this summer!. :thumbup:

I replaced my chain at 34,000. You should be ok for awhile.

Yea I imagine it would last at least that long. Mine shows very little wear and all the rollers are still good, sprockets show zero wear. Keeping the chain clean and lubed makes a difference.
