2 naked FZ6, 2 couples, 4 days, 2286km / 1240 miles

Hello everybody

I just wanted to share with you some photos of the trip I had with my girlfriend and my sister and husband on April this year.

I didn't enter into geographical details since this is Colombia and all of you are pretty far away from here

I will start with the first day.

Day 1,
Thursday April 1 -> Medellín, Antioquia - Albania, Guajira

Luggage already packaged and ready to be mounted on the bike

Just before leaving

We left at 0420

and stopped to have some hot beverage (it was cold) at 0555 after 102.6 km / 63.7 miles

We stopped for breakfast at 0715 after additional 99 km / 61.516 miles
at this point 201.6 km / 125.3 miles

we were hungry

We stopped for lunch at 1240 after additional 397.8 km / 247.2 miles
at this point 599.4 km / 372.5 miles

having a cold soda

bocachico (fresh water fish), plantain (plant related to banana), rice, tomatoe and onion
bocachico in english would be something like "small mouth fish"

We stopped for a cold beverage at 1704 after additional 232.3 km / 144.3 miles
at this point 831.7 km / 516.8 miles

We arrived to our destiny at 1800, luggage out and we stored the bikes
893.2 km / 555.0 miles for the first day

Day 2,
Friday April 2 -> Albania, Guajira - Cabo de la Vela, Guajira Cabo de la Vela - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arrived to Uribia at 1400 after additional 83.2 km / 51.7 miles
at this point 976.4 km / 606.7 miles
also notice that the "road" ends here

La Guajira department is next to Venezuela, so in this part of the country a lot of Venezuelan products are found, so let's get some Venezuelan gas (legally imported to our country), way better and wayyy cheaper than the local one

Did you remember I said the "road" had ended ... well the "off road" began

finally we could see and smell the sea!!!

the dinner, first time in life eating lobster

that is definitely an ugly animal, but tastes good

I was taught to not playing with the food, but didn't resist the temptation ...

After that bed time.

Btw, didn't take the picture, but we rode 89 kms / 55.3 miles "off road"

Day 3,
Saturday April 3 -> Cabo de la Vela, Guajira - Riohacha, Guajira

We woke up early in order to enjoy the surrounding as much as possible

it wouldn't be good to fall over that

from the distance it looks like garbage, it is not, stones and shells of a variety of colors and textures

this Wayú boy (The Wayú are a local indigenous group) was curious about the camera so we took him a picture and then showed it

now as an old and famous tropical song says "Play, Brisa y Mar" (Beach, Breeze and Sea")

At Uribia again, 178.4 km / 110.8 miles "off road" round trip to the cape, here again good and cheap Venezuelan gas

At 1802 just arriving to the hotel at Riohacha
at this point 1253.7 km / 779 miles

after taking off all the gear, taking a good shower and eating a good and big dinner a good sleep and rest was needed
