just cut a small piece of double sided tape and stuck it on. it kinda sits in there a bit nicely. oh, and I second what FB400 said.

Yes.

1. Buy adapter from amazon
2. plug directly into battery tender.
3. Double side tape next to ignition switch
3. drink 4 beers because you have all that time left over since you wired nothing.

I don't know about diet coke with bacon, but I do know what several places in town serve chocolate covered bacon. I'll admit I've not tried it.

I had an outlet attached at the same point on my FZ6 once upon a time. The way I did it was to put a zip tie around the outlet then put a zip tie thru that and attach it to the small ring around the ignition.
