08 FZ6 Wreck: Dirt instincts backfire...

Wanted to update on the bike condition with a few pics.

So far the only casualty that I did NOT see initially is the bars. They are tweaked up about an inch and a half on the right side  . I can't seem to find the stock replacements on my own using online microfiche...not sure why this is. I'm considering replacements, but I don't want to lean too far. I'm thinking of the LSL high street bars. Many people said they had the street bars but the position looks a bit low for my tastes. Any suggestions for bars that will provide a similar feel to stock?

The biggest cosmetic problem is the case cover. Anyone know where I can get touch up paint that will blend well? I'm assuming it's just a high heat flat black.

There are scratches on the back right side as well, but they are minor and will be buffed out shortly.

She's still pretty...and no mechanical issues to speak of on my short ride today.

Well, maybe we need a "rider down" code, similar to the police 10-00 code (officer down). Maybe "10-FZ," 10-RD" or "10-MC" ?

That's one thing that we don't have on this forum, a crash thread. I know it's kind of a sore subject, but its a reality and a fact of life when it comes to motorcycles. For the riders who have been down and who are humble enough to explain what happened, it can only help all of us become better riders. In addition, providing other pertinent information such as how much and what type of gear was worn and how it performed, how many miles did the bike or rider have as far as experience would be a great insight as well. I'm sure you get the idea, it would be better than hop scotching all over the forum for this particular topic, which seems to be happening too frequently. Just my 3 cents, added a penny for inflation.
