midpipe

So I've seen aftermarket decat mid pipes for sale, and have read mostly positive results about them. But has anyone tried to just gut and decat the stock catted midpipe?? it looks very easily doable, yet not much discussed. search isnt showing up any results either. anybody?

I am putting the OEM muffler back onto my FZ6. I have the muffler and midpipe, as well as the bracket that holds the muffler to the tail. I don't have a single bolt or the spacer that connects the muffler to the midpipe. Anyone have these bolts/spacers they are willing to sell? Thanks!
