Paris is planning on only allowing motorbikes that were built after 2000 (and cars from 1997) in the city centre, in an attempt to reduce the pollution. there was also a demonstration on 9th of February against this measure: Protests kicks in over Paris bike ban proposal - Motorbikes Reviews...
