    How much did you $spend on your fz6? $7200

    I live in Canada, Barrie Ontairo to be exact, I got my 2007 just this past summer (July 2009) for $5250. Now in Canada the list price for an 09 is about $9300 or so. The guy I bought it from bought it new and had no time to ride, so my 2 year old FZ6 only had 332km on it. Could not pass up...

    The original post was right: 12,000 rpm * 4 cylinders = 48,000 explosions per minute 48k/min * 1min/60sec = 800 then / 2 = 400 You need to divide this by 2, it is a 4 stroke, only 1 fire every 2 rpm. 800 would be right if it was a 2 stroke... Andrew

    Lag/Play when changing gear

    Thanks Boneman for saying it has a heavy clutch. I had not ridden bikes in about 15 years and after putting about 2000km on mine inf the last few months I have to say the clutch is really heavy. After a 3 or 4 hours my clutch hand is very sore. I don't remember this on the 550s i used to...
