We had a problem with the initial FZ6 assebled in Brazil and they had the same symptoms you are describing. The issue was that spark plugs were not connected properly. So have also a check if there is no loose or rusty connection on them.

I can´t stand these posts. I paid R$1250 a couple weeks ago. That´s US$700, but now that the mold is gone, they fell better than the M3 that came from factory. By the way, the Yamaha dealer asked more than R$1400 for the M3 rear :eek:

Now that the production of our beloved bike has ceased, does anyone know how many were produced? I searched for production in Brazil and here there were 1700 in 2009 (1100 N - naked and 600 S) and 900 in 2008 (600 N and 300 S). That´s 2600 bikes in 1 1/2 years. Yes, they started local production...
