Glad to know i'm not the only one who doesn't like his yoke scatched (that sounds bad :spank: ). The previous owner hadn't bothered so the top yoke was all scratched so I had to respray it. Right b****d to removed as the ignition loom connector it tucked inside the frame under the tank but there...
Yep. did exactly the same thing on the freeway many years ago on my RZ350. First instinct is to get up and get the bike. It was only when I went to pick the bike up that I realised i had a sore wrist and later on noticed a big hole on my elbow and the bone showing. Funny thing was there was not...
We all do silly things sometimes but making mistakes is how we learn, some of us (me) just take longer to learn them. But I can almost guarantee that you will never overcook that same corner again.
Blipping while downshifting on the bike seemed to come naturally to me, I probably picked it up subconsciously as a youngster when I got a lift on my dads bikes. Apparently it uses a fraction more fuel but is so much satisfying to have a smooth down change. Never really mastered in a car though...
I'm planning on removing my swingarm as thanks to the previous owner (or whoever did the servicing on it) has left a few scratches which need removing, plus I'd liked to relube the swingarm bushes. I've read a few threads on this but can't find anything on how they removed the mid pipe that...

Maybe their bikes vibrate so much that they can't see in their mirrors . Just because they are driving slowly does not mean they should not remain aware of their surroundings - after all they are still on a bike and vulnerable.
So long as a bit of common sense in used. ie make sure there is plenty of space and not creating an obstruction there should not be a problem parking on the sidewalk.
I can remember many years back having my lovley cromed side stand bent thanks to a car reversing without looking/or not as the...
haven't hit anything inside the house yet but yesterday just before getting on the bike I went to look at something on the side of the bike and hit my visor on the tank - felt a right plonker - no damage done to the tank thank goodness.:spank:
After 9 long years on 4 wheels I am now happy to say I'm back on 2 wheels (04 FZ6 Fazer) and really enjoying it - except for today when the car in front of me waved me to pull up next to him and asked if I knew I had my high beam on, I replied yes and then he proceeded to lecture me that he was...
