Me too. And the same thing happened. I say frame sliders are a danger to your bike in any real crash. They end up totally the bike, destroying the frame. That's what happened to me. Was a big bummer.
Sliders might be good for a driveway tip-over but other than that, not so much. I'm...
Now that is impressive. So do you have the Cat Eliminator or is your Cat still installed? If you have your Cat removed you should do the smog block off plates too.
Here's the FZ6 ones. I got Ivan's but Graves are the same and these say all years of FZ6 - Graves Smog Block Off Plates
I just installed my PCIII yesterday and it sure is sweet. Not really extra power (maybe a touch), but more smooth engine and it eliminated the popping on deceleration. Engine braking isn't as severe. It's a good upgrade for smoothing the ride out. My bike just seems to be idling and reving a lot...
Thanks! Will check out kawiforums to see if I can find a map. I'll have to search around and see what's happening there.
I looked at an 2005 ZX6RR in blue, it was very nice. That's quite a lot of power for all stock (except PC3)! I'm pretty shocked it can go that high without mods. Hope my...
Will check out a Ninja forum and see if anyone has maps. That's a great idea - since someone might have already paid to have a map made that would work for me!
I'm hoping it is pretty straight forward to install and deal with. Doesn't seem to bad from the directions.
It will be nice to not...
So I have been worried about the health of my 2004 Kawasaki ZX6RR since I got it. Bought it last November and storied it pretty much right away after a handful of rides. It didn't seem to perform as nicely as my (crashed) FZ6.
The bike came with an expensive full Micron exhaust. Great right...
Glad everyone was ok. Could have been really bad.
Was the chain too tight? I have heard about the slack needing to be checking when on the side stand. On my crotch rocket you are supposed to check the slack when it's on the side stand. I'm sure you know all of this already and it was probably a...
Glad you are ok and not too badly off as far as personal injuries. Do the PT and you will be good as new.
When I crashed my FZ6 the Motivation slider broke off same as yours taking the same arm off my frame. That will definitely total the bike out. That's what they did for me.
Hope you...
The FZ6 really is a super performer. My 2004 ZX6RR (600cc version) doesn't feel much faster than my FZ6 was. In fact, I'd have to say the FZ6 has better acceleration, had that on/off switch point where it jumps forward revving hard. Sadly my ZX6RR doesn't have that feeling. It was one of the...
Buy some Motivation sliders new. They are the best, saved my leg from getting crushed when I wrecked. Not cheap but super high quality - both the sliders and the bolts they come with.

I have a sphinx cat that looks like Mr. Bigglesworth. Most people think he's pretty exotic, but wow, a bobcat? That is really cool! Going to have to check out some youtube videos about them.
Here's a pic of him:
I've been enjoying the game a lot. It's better than the 08 version imho. Not super stoked about having to hire marketing people and research people. Then decide what the research people work on and how long it takes. Other than that gripe it's an amazing game.
I remember that was one of the things they taught me in MSF. If you are upset, emotional, or tired - you might not be on top of your game or take bad risks. Glad you are aware of this as well, it's one of those little things that can save your life.
My friend doesn't like to ride his 08 R6...
I felt the same way recently. Was checking out brand new bikes at the dealership, they all were much smoother. So I bought a cable luber and oil combo from them and did my clutch. It is much better now. The luber and oil combo was $20. Going to do my throttle cables next.
Anyone care to guess how much total? So much carbon fiber and trick parts. I can't even imagine - how about $30,000 with price of moto included in that amount? I even see carbon fiber rims!
And that paint job is amazing!
Or they can completely destroy your frame by taking a chunk out when they brake off. Not sure if the frame braking helped me not get as hurt, but it took a big shock that my leg and hip didn't take. I'm still deciding whether or not to get sliders for my current bike. Probably will though.
