That bit of stainless joiner pipe i got made up at a exhaust shop that way I kept the stock muffler untouched so it could be put back on if needed.

I am trying to make the same mod and i have some questions: How did you make that Y pipe? Is it titanium? Did you use titanium weld? Did you find spare titanium pipe to link? Or did you use the excessive pipe from the exhausts? How did you link it to the manifold pipe? How did you...

I had to cut a fair bit off making to y pipe was the hard part Trying to up load pics but it keeps failing:confused:

I have finshed modifying Some 05 model R1 pipes to my bike. And I love the new sound not to loud but louder then standard with a lot deeper note I will get some pics up soon

Thank heaps, yes she did me a big favor I didnt have to pay a cent and I got 12 months rego on top of that, and a awesome paint scheme + a newer bike very happy. Now to start modding it up, new bars and crash knobs ordered this time i will add them to the insurance policy and more to come

No all good i almost stopped it before hitting her, I still went over the bars but landed on my feet before doing a commando roll on the road The other paint scheme has a dark grey tank and a red seat which doesn't look that good, where the yellow works for me.

3 weeks ago a nice lady thought she could pull out in front of me so it meant that my only 6 month old 08 come to a very sudden stop after a cracked frame and bent forks and many other little things the bike was a write off But on the up side thanks to new for old on the insurance this is...

drag bars are the go I had the same problem put a set of drag bars on and no sore wrists even after a 400 km ride and only $40-$50 best upgrade i've done yet.
