Here's the skinny, need to get rid of the Bikes, so i can buy something more suitable for the Alaska Highway (and the cross country ride). I'm sure I'll end up with an FZ6 or FZ1 after the trip, but they aren't really the bikes for a cross-country two-up trip.
So, what i have for you today is 1...
So i took a ride down there this weekend, at the Holiday Inn Express, in Poughkeepsie, a Red 07+ FZ6, with a fender eliminator kit.
I left a note under the gas tank tab pointing to the forum :thumbup:

So I'm sitting in the living room today after a long day of work, just chillin' and i hear my roommate's bike rolling in. I look out the window, and he's there with his girlfriend on the back, just cruising along, so i go back to watching some TV. I noticed that they didn't come in for a while...
So i left work the tuesday night, at about 7:30pm
At the light i waited a good 1.5-2 minutes at a red to get on to the high way on ramp (left turn)
When the light went green, i proceeded to get into 1st gear, didn't give it alot of gas, in the middle of the turn (not even into 2nd, not goosing...
Good thing the crust on top of the snow was pretty tough...
It got kind of soft.....
So we had do do some digging towards the end, and it was a chilly 1.5hr ride back home... but i'm glad to have it back on the road again! The girl and I took a ride today, I'm just excited to...
