    VS-2 Installation

Either way, I didn't have any relay that was exposed that needed to be cable tied to the new headlight stay. Only the 2 off white connectors that were attached to the inner side of the LH side fairing.

    VS-2 Installation

That is what I did. I have the kit together, but am making some final adjustments to the throttle cable. When turning to the left, the cable sometimes does not want to return fully on its own. I can see the headlight behind the new light assy is riding up on the cables, being limited room.

    just got Tomok mirrors (knock-offs :D )

How did you mount these mirrors? I have stock levers (went from FZ6S to naked) and can't see how they would mount to my levers.

    VS-2 Installation

Ok, I think I might know what is going on. From the looks of it, 2006 onwards FZ6's had the relay in the fairing. I have a 2004 and it looks like the relay is on the battery under the tank. Does that mean I can leave it as is? Or am I still missing something?

    VS-2 Installation

Hi there, a great write up. This is the bit that has me stumped. The relay, where is it? When I disconnect my fairing there are 2 white plugs, but the relay I cannot find. Do I need to lift the tank to find it? I can see the relay in Vishnu's pics, but can't see it on my bike. I am assuming...

    The conversion thread - FZ6S to FZ6N

So, just ordered 2D1-26111-01-00 FZ1 handlebars from powersportsplus.com in the USA for $47 US delivered to my door in Australia. From local Yamaha dealer over $100 AU. What a price difference and testiment to the ripoff's for certain items in this country.

One thing I have not seen to date when selecting FZ1 bars is the year of the bars. Are they all the same for a given year?

Nubz VS-1 kit for Aussies ???

Hi All, I'm interested in the VS-1 kit from Nubz shop online, but have found that they don't ship to Australia. Has any other Aussies found out how to get this kit, apart from having it sent to a friend in the US, then out? I'm 99.99999% sure that I want to transform from a 'S' to a 'N'...

    FZ6S 'died' under acceleration

Hi All, The other day, I turned left at an intersection and basically gave it all it had in 1st. It started to lift, but then at about (guessing) 9000 rpm the whole bike died. The dash went blank (except for the clock). I turned the ingnition key on/off and played with the kill switch too...

    FZ6 2005 seat wanted - Melb Australia

Hi All, I am chasing a seat to suit a FZ6 2005 model. The one I have was modified when I bought it, but it is too bulky, plus the covering was pulled too tight, so the seat does not sit against the bikes' body. I am in Melbourne Australia. If anyone has one from another country and is...

    Which bars would you buy?

Do you sit more fwd or more upright than the OEM handlebars? From your post I gather it is more upright thanks.

    Best fender eliminator?

I installed the Targa kit. It is compact, but you can still see the rear lights easily. The number plate is tucked up high, plus it comes with a LED strip light, therefore you don't need to use the OEM stock bulky unit. I am very happy with it. Search for it on ebay......

FZ6 Targa FE - any issues?

It is the split type spiral wrap. It has a split along the entire length of it with the blinker and LED plate light wiring in it. I can only route it above the FE plate that came with the kit and not below, or else you will see it on the bike and not look tidy. And I have a stock exhaust.
