I have this mount and have used it with several RAM GPS holders. I do use it with a piece of rubberized plastic between the mount and handlebar to make the fit tighter. Been using it that way for the last 9 months without any problems. Even if you get a bad one, not much of a loss at that...

My throttle grip will turn about 1/4 of a turn before it actuates the cable and begins to open the throttle. The grip itself is not slipping. Is there anyway to take the slop out it? Thanks, Patrick

After reading the replies and a little more research, I opted for the Motech's. I installed them and could not quite get the bar from rotating when using it to get the bike on the center stand. I instered two plastic spacers, retightened and it now works great. Definitely changed my riding...

I am considering raising my handlebars to improve long distance comfort. Does anyone have experience with spacers? Do you have to change your cabling? Thanks

I have been experimenting with ways to mount my GPS on my 07 FZ6. After much consideration, I think the best plan is to replace the handlebar clamps with ones from an 06. Does anyone know where I might find some? Thanks
