It fz6 sinks like a stone! But theoretically if you had an air tank for the engine and yourself. And you completely water proofed the electicals, you could ride it across the bottom of the water.
Yep! It's an awesome bike!. Glad to own one. But somestimes the gear box feels alittle clunky. And the fairing assembly on the s model can vibrate abit. And the intrument set up on the 07 series onward is nicer than my 06 series set up. But otherwise a champion bike!
I'm in!. Exactly where and when do we meet?
I tried to persuade my friend to borrow my brothers Honda cb250 and join us, but he declined. I can't imagine why?
100hp and 60+ nm of torque is enough. I can hold any 600 until about 230kph. 1 litres are too quick after 100kph. But I've pulled 11.7 over 400 meters from standstill. With a time card.
I love this bike, I can enjoy commuting, sports riding or touring with my wife on the back.
Tucked right in. It's a little awkward on the fz6 to be honest. Tucking into a sports bike is easier. But when I tried for a top speed run I had everything in tight, head pretty much on the fuel tank.
This weekend or the following is good for me. After that i'm out of sydney for a while. And I plug tyres too. Bugger buying another after just 700kms.
Anyway, where is a good place to meet up?
We keep talking about riding, but then never actually plan anything! come one people! The weather is getting better, Beautiful day today in Sydney! Should have been today!
You mean the nail punch stunt? You'll need a really long one. And i mean long nail punch. But sure. I'm actually going to take the whole pipe off, lay it out on a table, cut the guts out of it and weld it back together. Just got to get my friend with a welder to help.. I'll take picture and post...
I ride around normally for the most part, Often carrying my wife as a passenger. So i am sensible then. But when i can get away with it, i don't mind opening the taps alittle. Top speed indicated so far is 237pkh/148mph. On the M5 motorway, late at night. Done it a few times with the same result.
Took the fazer600 to "race for real" at western sydney raceway just last night. Also known as eastern creek. Never hit the strip before, plenty of nice cars there, and a few bikes too.
Dissapointed at the limited bike turn out. Also dissapointed that 3 cars either crashed or spilt crap all...
ok ok i'm back! Sorry for late reply. Lets go for a ride people!
No i didn't get my twin bros. not yet, I'm spending money on a million other things, so all i've done on the bike so far is launch a long nail punch down the pipe and poped a hole in the muffle. It sounds more throaty now...
