Correct, fyi you are all set for a smoother throttle response on 17T at low speed.
Have a go at pc zero map (stock factory mapping) and feel the difference.
Yep factory speedo is spot on on 17T, great to tour, but crap for suburban if fueling has not been sorted. Easily more than 400km on one tank of fuel with 17T I recall.
Scorpion cans, PC3 and Speedohealer are sold.
Pazzo lever set is still available, it fits many Yamaha bikes such as fz6, fz6r, fz8, fz1 (06-12) and XJ6.
Thanks guys.
Yes Speedohealer is still available. Mave2911 bought cans and pc3 only.
PM me your postal detail and I will see how the postage works out for you. Or else you can come pick up.
Could not locate model number for the cans, but invoice says 04-09, fitting instruction 04-06, and I installed it in my 08, so I'd say it will fit any 04-09 fz6(s).
Speedohealer will fit all models of fz6(s), part number SH-V4 plus universal Yamaha harness SH-Y01
Finally PC3 fits all 04-08 models.
Hi all,
I have the following items for sale in Sydney, they come off 2008 series 2 FZ6S.
SOLD $350:
Scorpion carbon fibre oval dual exhaust (inc removable baffles, 4 months old and < 1000km)
SOLD $200:
Dynojet Power Commander III USB (dyno tuned to the Scorpion exhaust), it may fit...
Hi there,
Does anyone know where O2 sensor cable is under the tank, what does it look like?
FYI I am unplugging it for dyno tuning with PCIII.
Thanks
Will
Owned: It's hard to decide between Weestrom (DL650) and FZ6; the DL650 is a practical long distance tourer while FZ6 is more of a short weekend sportstourer. For me personally though, DL is about romance and freedom of exploration, while FZ6 offers me a short break in life. Therefore, being...
Hi,
Having just received oval carbon scorpion exhausts that I ordered from nicecycle.com (US site) ten days ago, I am surprised to find there are baffles / db killers already pre-installed. I wonder if Scorpion has started including baffles regardless of the geographical region, could anyone...
Hi,
The pricing is certainly tempting!
I am thinking to take the pipes home on a plane, does anyone know how much the whole thing weights? Would I need a huge luggage as well?
Thanks.
If only 1 mod, suspension upgrade/adjust to suit my weight and riding style, I felt it affects the overall riding experience more than sprocket, levers, pipes or screen upgrades (don't get me wrong, I love them all).
You should give airhawk a try. It is excellent for long distance hwy runs (i.e. 1000km+) where your body remains relatively static, but not so great on the twisties when you slide your butt from side to side.
I have a pair of this, IMO it is not worth getting cos:
1. No noise suppression what so ever, therefore totally useless on freeway.
2. Crashes all the time, although easy to factory default and pair again.
3. Speaker quality - just aweful and piercingly painful.
Save you $ for Cardo or...
Oxley Hwy is west of Port Macquarie, between Wauchope and Walcha. Beautiful scenery and endless quality corners.
Too early to make a final confirmation at this stage, but I am keen.
Yep, smooth surface, fast and long corners in some sections, but fun bits are rather short in length. Lots of traffic and highway patrol on the weekend, and slow trucks during the week.
A 12 hours day trip from Sydney is certainly doable. IMO Oxley Hwy is a much more rewarding run.
Exactly what I suspected, quite disappointed but that's how most business make $$$ these days.
Thanks for the confirmation Wolfman, it is good to have a straight answer.
I think I will just mount my old Givi case on the rack somehow, it is may be ugly as hell, but it is my way of saying...
